Stories change the world. Apparently…

When I started Tall Giraffe Video in 2021, the idea was to create a boutique creative consultancy.

Almost immediately, I realised there was a need for something more. Not necessarily in 2021 but I wanted to solve a bigger problem. A problem we saw coming 5 years ago.

The digital world has become incredibly noisy. People are exhausted by disposable content and synthetic messages. I wanted to create value that actually lasts. Value for our creative crews, our brand partners, and most importantly, our audiences.

In an increasingly volatile market with pandemics, flash-wars and floods, unrests and the like, we had to ask ourselves a bunch of difficult questions.

How do we actually do what so many in our industry claim: How do we actually change the world through stories? And how do we do this while honouring the most valuable assets our audience has – their time and later their resources?

It’s been a very bumpy road for us but we are still here. And we are building this.

Today, we partner with visionary, people-first brands to bring stories to life that add to the bottom line by being honest and human. Authentic brand stories that are timeless and add value to all the stakeholders in our content and marketing ecosystems. 

Stories that build quality, engaged audiences because they give first without that overt immediate ask.

Having grown up on a farm and worked as a teacher before becoming a filmmaker, Melt brings a practical, long-term approach to brand strategy. He focuses on building lasting trust rather than chasing short-term digital trends.
